The Totally Should Have Book Tag

I was tagged some time ago by Azia from The Uncharted Word to do The Totally Should Have Book Tag. Sorry, it took me so long, but it’s finally here!

If you haven’t done it yet, go check out her blog and her answers to the Tag here! She has an amazing blog, full of reviews, tags and even some pretty cool short stories!

Also, before I forget, it’s officially spring time! YEY I was so done with cold weather… Hope you guys have a wonderful spring!

And let’s get started.

Totally should’ve gotten a sequel

I really don’t know. I read way more series than stand-alone books. And the ones I’ve read are good on its own. I feel that adding more books to that would ruin it…

Totally should’ve gotten a spin-off series

I don’t know… Maybe Rebel of the Sands, about Jin. But it can still happen (?)

An author that totally should write more books

S. Jae-Jones that only has one – although very recent -out and I need more! And Katherine Arden who said that she’s going to write two more books in The Bear and the Nightingale trilogy, but I also would love some other books non-related.

A character that totally should’ve ended up with someone else

2767052

Katniss with Gale. Sorry.

Totally should’ve ended differently

31574408

Ah… If you read my review you already know this. But I thought the end was very disappointing.

Totally should’ve had a movie franchise

Not an easy question. I would love many if they had no possibility of butchering them. But I would love The Lunar Chronicles!

Totally should’ve had only one point of view

I don’t know… I actually enjoy multiple points of view. But I do remember feeling this in some books… I can’t really recall which ones tho. But I think one of them was Allegiant.

Totally should’ve had a cover change

I can’t remember a lot of them now that they don’t have already other over options. So I will just mention same editions that I didn’t particularly like.

I really don’t like these editions. They are the ones I own and I would so much prefer the new versions! Also Heartless as a cover edition I really don’t like, it has a mouth on it and it’s the only one they have in the bookstore close to me… I will definitely not buy that.

Totally should’ve kept the original covers

Just like Azia, definitely original covers over movie posters on books! I hate when they do that, and then it’s so much harder to find the original covers in the bookstore!

I also hate when publishers change covers design in the middle of a series, and then they don’t match the ones you already have.

Totally should’ve stopped at book one

Sorry, but I just don’t see a point in having a book two here. It’s normally to know what our favorite characters are going to do afterward, but I do prefer to keep guessing than to feel meh about it.

If you’ve done it already (sorry, I didn’t check) or don’t wan’t to do it, feel free to skip it!

  1. Wonderful tag, Joana! I totallllllllly agree about Me Before You. Literally, what is the point of having the second book? I’m sure it’s showing how you can move on after grief, but it’s losing the focus and pull that the first story had. I couldn’t believe there was a second book after my friend told me. And super agree about TLC. I just want to see them in action. :O And I actually already did this tag – although I literally don’t remember doing it at all. I had to search my own website for it. XD But thank you so much for thinking of me! Wonderful post as always! 🙂
