What better way to start springtime than with a book with a cover this beautiful that screams spring?! None! And…. I loved this book SO much! I truly believe this will be a favorite for this year, I know we are just in the beginning of it but I am almost certain it will.

Now, to be honest, I really had a hard time rating this book. I definitely love it and there’s just a thing I would like to see different (I can’t explain it because it would be a major spoiler, but if you read it maybe you will understand what I mean…) but I still understand the way it is now… It’s complicated. But I thought that part was really important to me and because of that, I am not giving it 5 stars. But it is still a FAVORITE of mine!

I read The Sun is Also a Star from Nicola Yoon in the end of last year and I really, really liked it! And that’s why I picked this one up.

This book is an amazing story about love and family. But it talks about those topics in a unique, magnificent way! The plot is pretty simple but it just gets inside your heart and refuses to let go. I don’t think I will ever forget this story. It’s about living, about love, and about what we would do for love. What would we risk? How much would we risk?

There are two main characters, Maddie and Olly. And it’s very difficult not to love them! I got attached to them from the first moment I met them. Maddie is a very unique person. She is very strong and intelligent, and she loves to read. Olly is a sweetheart that doesn’t have that much of an easy life and he would do everything for the ones he loves. Plus I absolutely love the humor these two characters share!

I also really enjoyed Carla, she was sweet and fearless and I loved how strong-willed she was.

This book was the easiest thing to read I’ve ever tried! If I didn’t have so much to do daily I would have read this in one sitting for sure. The book is very easy to read, not only because of the writing, that is beautiful, but because it contains drawings, emails and so on.

I really LOVED this book and I would definitely recommend it to everybody that would feel like reading a cozy (slightly heart-aching) fluffy book in a blink of an eye!
