What Cats Do Book TAG

I have been incredibly excited to do this tag ever since I was tagged by Mandy @ BookPrincessReviews! I absolutely love cats and joining cats and books together is just perfect! Also, I’ve been designing a new blog design for my blog with that theme, but it’s taking some time… So that’s how much I love it!

So, like Mandy, I do have a kittie! His name is Darius after the ancient king of Persia, since it’s a Persian. Not very creative, right? But I think it kinda suits him. He is very lazy and he is completing one year now in July. He is terribly fluffy and he licks a freaking lot. He is always after people although he is not much of a lap cat. Basically, I absolutely adore him! Here’s a photo of my cutie!

PURR – AS CATS DO THIS WHEN THEY’RE HAPPY OR RELAXED, WHAT IS THE BOOK THAT MAKES YOU HAPPIEST OR RELAXED?

Books that make me happy or relaxed have to be contemporary. And a book I would read 1000 times if I could, would be Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins!

SLEEP – WHAT IS A BOOK THAT PUT YOU TO SLEEP OR WAS JUST BORING? 

I’ve tried to read The Dark Days Club, and I just don’t seem to make myself get through the first 100 pages… I heard great things about it but I just find the beginning so boring… I will definitely try it again but for now, that’s what I feel about it.

TWITCH WHILE DREAMING – HAVE YOU EVER DREAMT OF A BOOK YOU READ?

Way too many times! Especially when I’m reading a book I really want to know more and I have to stop… Or if it creates a massive impact on me after ending it. Here are some examples: Six of Crows, Truthwitch, Traitor to the Throne, An Ember in the Ashes, Cress and ACOMAF! And for manga, Fruits Basket and Dramacon!

SEEMS TO PLAY NICE…UNTIL THE CLAWS ARE OUT – WHICH BOOK HAD THE BIGGEST PLOT TWIST?

The Killing Game, Things We Have in Common, The Gift and Final Girls are books that have a massive plot twist. And I am normally way too good at predicting and these ones were just wow for me.

CUDDLES – WHICH BOOK CHARACTER WOULD YOU GIVE A HUG TO?

Well… For boys, I’m going with Rhysand! For girls, I have way too many… Inej from Six of Crows, Lola from Lola and the Boy Next Door, Cress from well, Cress and Meg from The Hidden Oracle.

CATNIP – WHAT’S A BOOK THAT MADE YOU HAVE WARM AND FUZZY FEELS?

Most recently The Upside of Unrequited, because it’s just adorable. But also How to Make a Wish and Everything, Everything!

CAT BREEDS – WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE BOOKS?

This is a bit of a difficult question… I have way too many nowadays…  So I’ll do the same as Mandy and go with genres. My favorite genres of books are YA Fantasy, YA Contemporary, and Thrillers.

THE VET’S OFFICE – YOUR LEAST FAVORITE BOOK:

I will go with Just the Two of Us by Georgie Capron. It’s not necessarily bad, just not for me at all. I don’t really enjoy that much books featuring pregnancy as the main topic.

BEING IN PLACES THEY SHOULDN’T – LEAST FAVORITE CLICHE:

There’s way too many but sometimes I make myself look the other way around if the book is really good not counting with that. But if there’s something I don’t like is that love seems to be a cure for everything… I just don’t get it. Love is important, yes, but authors seem to use it as a medicine… I also really don’t like when we have a love triangle and the author always chooses a girl to be indecisive with one or the other. It’s just… Argh! It’s already way too many love triangles but there’s only that type now.

FINAL QUESTION: THE GOOD OLD CARDBOARD BOX – MOST UNDERRATED BOOK SERIES:

Okay, sure Truthwitch and Rebel of the Sands are not even over yet, but I still feel that I should mention them because I really like them and I don’t see enough persons talking bout them! Also, Heroes of Olympus is a series that I don’t hear talking about as much as Percy Jackson and it’s one of my favorites, and in my opinion much better!
