Lara Jean didn’t expect to really fall for Peter.
She and Peter were just pretending. Except suddenly they weren’t. Now Lara Jean is more confused than ever.
When another boy from her past returns to her life, Lara Jean’s feelings for him return too. Can a girl be in love with two boys at once?
In this charming and heartfelt sequel to the New York Timesbestseller To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, we see first love through the eyes of the unforgettable Lara Jean. Love is never easy, but maybe that’s part of what makes it so amazing.
This was SOOO cute!! I’m not gonna lie… I did enjoy the first one slightly better, but this one was still amazing!
I think I might be team Johnny… I am probably one of the only ones but I just love him so much! Although I do love Peter, I love Johnny an itty bitty more. He is incredibly sweet, sincere and just perfect! I loved him with all my heart! He is so swoon-worthy!
Am I too awful if I say that I would have wanted Peter to be a total asshole? That way it would have been just normal to go for Johnny, right?! But yes, I know Peter is incredible.
I think Peter is an amazing boyfriend and a great friend. He had some attitudes that I was really surprised by and that I utterly adored, but sometimes, I just wanted to bite him in the end for how silly he was being… I still love him with Lara Jean and I am really happy with them together but I can’t stop thinking what if it was with Johnny…
As for Lara Jean, I really liked her character development. But although her heart is gold, her head is a bit hard… I love how naive and sensible she is, it’s one of the things I most love about her but sometimes that makes her a bit dumb? I do slightly see myself in her and I really care for her, and I love to read about her but sometimes she kinda made me frustrated.
Of course, sometimes they act stupid, I mean they are around 16 years old… It would only be normal to have the kind of attitudes they had, and that’s basically why I do like to see them together anyway.
I really liked to see their relationship and a bit of the sister’s one, that although was not as much present as in the first book, it was still there and I absolutely adore it! I love Kitty, I think she is an amazing character and I love how wild and direct she is! I really enjoy books with family and friendship in them and this is an amazing trilogy on that!
And once again I’m a fan of Jenny Han’s writing, I think it’s beautiful and very easy and delightful to read. It grips you to the life of the characters and you just want and need to know more, to be a part of it… It’s just so cute and warm-hearted! I love the plots she creates and I absolutely love the characters. God…. I even love the love triangles! I definitely need to check out more of her books.
To conclude, although the end was not entirely what I wanted, I still loved how everything turned out, especially Lara Jean’s realizations! I can’t wait to see what will happen in the next book!
