When rogue packs of wolf-hybrid soldiers threaten the tenuous peace alliance between Earth and Luna, Iko takes it upon herself to hunt down the soldiers’ leader. She is soon working with a handsome royal guard who forces her to question everything she knows about love, loyalty, and her own humanity. With appearances by Cinder and the rest of the Rampion crew, this is a must-have for fans of the series.
This was so much fun! I love this series incredibly much and this book picks up right after Winter, doing a brief reminder of what happened in the book, so if you haven’t read those yet, I wouldn’t recommend picking this one up, since this is like the 5th book in the series in a graphic novel format.
Both the art and the story were really good! But especially the art really surprised me… It’s all done in shades of blue and it just looks so incredible! It’s simple, yet so amazing to see the character I’ve been loving from the previous books! I really liked how they were designed and how easy it was to “feel” the characters through the art!
The main character in this book is IKO and she was already one of my fave characters from the last books, so I was super excited to have more of her! She is even more badass in this book! She is witty, courageous and just unique! Plus I’m seeing a romance coming up, and I am ecstatic for it!
From all the other characters, I really loved Thorne and Cress and some tiny moments of Scarlet and Wolf. Those were my favorites! They looked so terribly cute.
I really loved this book, I thought the plot would be just as good as it was and so I am really happy I enjoyed it! Plus I loved the humor in this book. It made me read it with a smile on my face and I just want to devour it again and again!
The only thing is that I was just warming up to the story and it just ended… It’s what I don’t like about graphic novels, they always seem tiny no matter what… I read this in one hour and now I was left wanting more! I need more! It’s just so unfair… But both the story and the art were so worth it!! Anyway, I loved it and I would most definitely recommend it – especially if you’re already a fan of the Lunar Chronicles!
