I’ve been saving this tag since the beginning of the year but it’s finally time for it! What’s better than a horror movie book tag done in Halloween time, right? It’s just the perfect theme!
I was tagged by Mandy @Bookprincessreviews so thank you so much for the tag and I’m so sorry that it took me approximately eons to do it! 😓 Make sure you guys check out her amazing blog and her answers to this tag here!
I was also tagged by Maya @Firebreathingbookdragon so thank you so much and once again sorry it took SO long! >.< Make sure you guys also check out her amazing blog and of course her answers to this tag here!
*I didn’t put the images of the tag in my post mainly because some creep me out. But you can find them on Mandy’s post, Maya’s post linked up. Or at the creator of the tag, linked below!*
So, let’s get started!
Rules:
1. Please credit and link yours truly, Princess @RoyalReader (or just Royal Reader), as the creator of this tag, and add the rules.
2. You can use the graphics provided in your post, or you’re welcome to make your own!
3. Thank the person(s) who tagged you and let others know of their fabulous blogs.
4. Tag as many people as you want, be it 1 or 20, it’s entirely up to you!
The Zombie Apocalypse – A book you would save when civilization ends
This is probably the most difficult question I ever had to answer… Only one?! Is that even possible?! It would never be possible with only one but this is one of them. The Bear and the Nightingale is one of my favorite books and I certainly wouldn’t mind reading it again and again.
The Vampire – A book you would stake through the heart (in whatever sense)
I will go with When I Cast Your Shadow in the sense that I was expecting to like this book extremely much and it ended up not living to my expectations at all.
The Haunted House – A book that still haunts you
Living Dead Girl… It’s impossible not to haunt… It’s just not.
The Psychological Thriller – A book with a twist you did not see coming
The question with this series is: When do I see ANYTHING coming?! And I Darken is absolutely amazing and unexpected every single page.
The Creepy Doll – A book that seems innocent but isn’t
Things We Have in Common…. It’s just incredibly messed-up. Amazing, but seeing the cover I would have never thought… Read it!
The Monster – A book you could barely tackle/defeat (in whatever sense)
I just couldn’t do it… I read 40% of it and couldn’t make myself continue. It just felt too boring for me, I didn’t really see the appealing part of it.
The Comedy-Horror – A book with mixed genres that worked (or didn’t)
Spinning is an autobiography told in a graphic novel format. I never saw anything quite like this and I thought it to be really unique and enjoyable. Also, the art and the colors are A+.
The (Cliched) Teen Horror – A book you found super cliched/stereotypical
I have a lot of answers for this one… The Selection, for instance, is very cliche, although I really liked it. It’s just so gripping… Also Anna and the French Kiss, which is one of my favorites is very cliche. And pretty much any chick-lit!
The Demonic Possession – A book so gripping you needed an exorcist to escape it
There’s many but I will go with a very recent one… Queens of Geek was the cutest thing ever and I couldn’t stop reading it!
The Science Fiction – A precious book you would permanently sacrifice to aliens for the good of mankind
Harry Potter because it just made my life. Whoever doesn’t know about Harry Potter is losing one of the greatest stories created.
I TAG
This tag is a bit old right now since I took so long. Probably a lot of you guys have done this already… So for those of you that didn’t, I TAG YOU! This is a really fun tag and it’s the perfect time to do it so just feel free to do it!
Do you guys enjoy horror movies? Have you read any of these books? What are your answers to these questions?
This was so fun to read!! Awesome answers!

Oooh, I love how you chose to wait to do it for this time, Joana! 😉 It was perfection, and I so agree about the creepy pictures. I loved your choices, and I didn’t know that Spinning was a graphic novel format. I’m definitely going to have to check that out since it sounds so intriguing. I also really need to get on The Bear and the Nightingale if it’s one of the contenders for being saved! 😉 Wonderful answers! ❤

Sorry you couldn’t get into Outlander, I love the series, but it is an intimidating book. I’m really intrigued by the cover for “Things We Have in Common”. Seems interesting.
