When BFFs Charlie, Taylor and Jamie go to SupaCon, they know it’s going to be a blast. What they don’t expect is for it to change their lives forever.

Charlie likes to stand out. SupaCon is her chance to show fans she’s over her public breakup with co-star, Reese Ryan. When Alyssa Huntington arrives as a surprise guest, it seems Charlie’s long-time crush on her isn’t as one-sided as she thought.

While Charlie dodges questions about her personal life, Taylor starts asking questions about her own.

Taylor likes to blend in. Her brain is wired differently, making her fear change. And there’s one thing in her life she knows will never change: her friendship with Jamie—no matter how much she may secretly want it to. But when she hears about the Queen Firestone SupaFan Contest, she starts to rethink her rules on playing it safe.

This was probably the cutest thing ever. I was going to read some pages per day, for a buddy read, and I ended up reading it in two sittings!

I LOVE conventions. I wish I could go to more, it’s just such a happy feeling when you are at one! And that’s exactly what it is for Charlie and Taylor. They are our two main characters and we have two romantic stories going on!

Taylor and Charlie are amazing each in their own way! I really related to one of the main characters, which made the whole experience even better!

Taylor is the sweetest! I’m a bit like her in terms that I’m very shy, often afraid of confrontation, I always think too much about everything, I love geeky things and I stress very easily, plus I have anxiety. So, although she had some other stuff going on that I can’t relate to, the majority were relatable and that’s probably what made me love her so much!

I also loved how strong she became during the convention and to see how sometimes just some words can help. I loved how even when she was bad, she often thought of others. I loved to see her relationship with her friends! She is such a sweet strong person, even if she didn’t notice that herself.

Then we have Charlie. I can relate less to her but I did in some things, especially in the ex-boyfriend department. I thought she was very positive, thoughtful and sweet. I loved how energetic she was!

I also loved everything about their romantic and friendship connections. Especially Taylor’s and Charlie’s best friend Jamie! He is such a great guy! I loved him. So geeky and sweet… And always caring for his friends. Ahh… It’s perfect. This whole cast of characters is perfect!

The book has a lot of diversity – we have a Chinese character, two aspie girls, a character of color, etc. All the characters are very different and it made it realistic and just purely amazing.

The book was all passed during a convention. It had cosplay, quizzes, manga booths, everything I love! I hoped we got a better view of it all than we did but it was still pretty cool and I still had that feeling of being there, you know? It’s all so realistic and just so much fun! I wish I really was there with these characters. They are my dream friends!

This book reminded me a bit of a favorite (and one of the first I read) manga books – Dramacon. It’s also passed during a convention, it’s a romance, also has some idiot boyfriends/ex-boyfriends, a lot of anime and a lot of manga stuff, cosplay, and pretty cool characters.

I just love this type of books and I don’t understand what took me so long to start this book! It’s emotional and fun. I cried, I laughed, I got pissed, it was a rollercoaster for me.

The writing is gripping and fun, always alternating POVs and I just couldn’t recommend this more than I already do!
