Top Ten Tuesday: Books I’m No Longer Interested In

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish in June 2010 out of a love of lists. It recently changed to That Artsy Reader Girl and that’s where you can find the topics for each Tuesday.

This week’s topic is:

Books I’ve Decided I’m No Longer Interested In Reading

And I’m super excited for this post because I haven’t actualized by TBR in quite a long time and I for sure have some books I’m not interested in anymore, so let’s see which ones!

Also, if you love any of the books I mentioned, and you think I should read it please say so, because half of the time I don’t really have a reason, I just kinda have to make options and I generally go for recent ones…

So let’s get going on with the list! This is my Top 10 books that I’m no longer interested in reading:

These are some of the books that I’ve had for quite a long time in my TBR and that I’m not really interested in anymore. They have been there for so long that what made me want to read them in the first place kind of evaporated, you know?

So, have you guys read any of this? Should I change my mind in any? Why?

What about you guys? Are there any books you are not interested in anymore? Which ones? Let’s talk in the comments below!

  1. I read Hush Hush when I was a teen and liked it…I went back to reading it recently and wasn’t a fan. Could be that I grew up or it just could be that I don’t like those type of stories anymore. Sorry, that I wasn’t much help. I do have all the books in paperback for that series, I can’t bring myself up to getting ridding books like ever so they are collecting dust. ^_^

  2. Great list. I’m not a James Patterson fan. I could not get into any of his books no matter how hard I tried. I also removed the ‘hush, hush’ series from my TBR not too long ago.

  3. I’m sorry that you’re not interested in reading Die for Me, it’s one of my favorite books because I feel like it’s so unique. I hope that at some point some of these book will pique your interest again.

  4. Passenger was really SLOW. However, I’d recommend it for the beautiful writing and the naked hardback is so pretty! 😂

As for Bloodlines, I really enjoyed that series even if I did not read The Vampire Academy. I’ve only read spoilers (on tumblr) and watched the movie. Bloodlines was pretty angsty, it has a slow burn type of romance. I’d recommend it if you liked VA.
