Best. Superhero. Book. EVER. I loved this with all my heart and I’m in tears!

I had high hopes for this book because I tend to adore Sarah J. Maas’ characters. Catwoman was no disappointment, she was the most fierce, clever, caring, hardworking badass girl I’ve ever met! I was absolutely in love with her story and how deep it touched my heart. I don’t have much knowledge about Catwoman, I pretty much only saw the movie and that was eons ago so I can’t really compare it, or see what was kept and what was changed in her. But what I can say is that she was a hell of a character and I utterly loved her story. Selina Kyle is the BEST superhero I’ve ever read about!

One of the things I most loved about this book is how complex and well structured it was. Everything was so well connected! I loved to know why Selina became Catwoman, what were her reasons to do what she does… It was just WOW. Nothing was amiss in this book and it just kept me interested in everything happening. I needed to know more and more, and to be honest, I did NOT see the end coming at all!

Another amazing thing was to get to know Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn in this book. I swear everything was better here, every single character! They had so much depth and so much part in the story that I’m obsessed with them! I need stories about them too! I need Sarah J. Maas to write a story for every single one of them because this one – It was nothing less than amazing! I have a new obsession with Poison Ivy that needs to be satisfied…

The story was done beautifully, the writing was gripping, suspenseful, and to be honest, her take on the story was the best I’ve seen in anything. The story was incredibly well developed and it was really easy to visualize everything. I loved Batwing’s take in this book too, especially because I’m a Batman fan and this just left me wanting more for how good it was! Also, I loved how much every single character meant to me. They were truly incredibly developed and I just couldn’t have asked for anything better than this story.

This is a hell of a ride and I would recommend it to EVERYONE. This is by far the best of the DC Icon books so far and a new favorite!
