Hey guys!

It’s time to unbox LitJoy Crate’s May Box! As you might know, they are quarterly so, I decided to get them since it’s not as much an investment as Fairyloot or Owlcrate and they tend to come with an amazing coffee cup! Are you excited to check it out?? Keep on reading!

Wishes & Curses – May YA Box

So this is all the box included! Now for each item…

Here’s the synopsis:

Once upon a time Ella had wished for more than her life as a lowly maid.

Now forced to work hard under the unforgiving, lecherous gaze of the man she once called stepfather, Ella’s only refuge is in the books she reads by candlelight, secreted away in the library she isn’t permitted to enter.

One night, among her beloved books of far-off lands, Ella’s wishes are answered. At the stroke of midnight, a fairy godmother makes her an offer that will change her life: seven wishes, hers to make as she pleases. But each wish comes at a price and Ella must to decide whether it’s one she’s willing to pay it.

A smouldering, terrifying new spin on Cinderella – perfect for fans of Laura Purcell and Erin Morgenstern.

As for each item…

So, here’s the book and the back of the author’s letter! This is a normal cover but it’s beautiful so I’m really happy it didn’t change!

It also has some pretty end papers and you can see already a bit of the sprayed edges!

Also, the book came signed and here is the author’s signature!

Here’s the back of the dust jacket! It’s a beautiful illustration designed by Sophia Volovik!

The image from the letter of the author is also inside the book! How cool is that?! Love illustrations in books!

Here’s the sprayed edges in all their glory and a beautiful new item!!! I’m always so excited for these!!

This beautiful teacup (or to be honest expresso cup) and saucer were inspired by the Daevabad Series and designed by Nairafeather! I freaking love how dynamic and unique it is! Especially the saucer!

Next, we got an adorable wooden box that closes magnetically. It was inspired by The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue and is made out of bamboo.

We also got a magnetic notepad inspired by The Princess Bride and designed by kimcarlika_art! It’s freaking beautiful and old style!

Here we have a super cute Blood and Ash Sticker designed by brioandbrandish and an adorable zipper pouch inspired by none other than Caraval! This was designed by riddlandravens! Check out the other side:

Isn’t it cute?! We also got another one of the photo strips, this time showcasing Cassian and Nesta! And this one was designed by sarahconradsen!

Lastly we got this Cinderella Ice Tray which is dish washer safe and super cute for the end of the summer!

What do you think of this box? My fav item has to be… saucer, because, where the hell would you find a saucer in the shape of a magic carpet anywhere else??

Overall this was an amazing box and I’m super excited for whatever they will come up with next! Also, here’s the only add-on I got:

It’s one of the beautiful Bookshelf Alley designed by none other than Rosiethorns88, I freaking love getting these!

I hope you guys enjoyed this unboxing! They are always super fun to make!
