Hey guys! Here’s the unboxing for Owlcrate September’s box! Hope you enjoy! The theme of the month is Haunted Hearts!
Owlcrate is an amazing YA bookish subscription box that I would highly recommend getting. Plus, if you live in Europe like me, it still arrives incredibly fast and somehow (for me) it doesn’t get more expensive than any other box coming from Europe – although obviously, it changes from country to country…

Haunted Hearts – September 2021
So this is all the box included! Now for each item…
This month’s book is Lakesedge by Lyndall Clipstone. The cover that came is an exclusive Owlcrate edition that you can see in the photo below and the one on the left is the original one.
Here’s the synopsis:

Next we got a super different item – magnetic picture frames! They were designed by Riddle & Ravens and inspired by The Beautiful and Shadows Between Us!
Here’s some beautiful coasters designed by Lichen and Limestone! In order, they were inspired by Pablo Neruda, Jane Austen, Crimson Peak and The Vampire Diaries.
Here’s another view at the kit in the little stand included! Looks awesome!
Lastly we got a ceramic travel mug with a quote from Emily Brontë and designed by Macarena Chomik.
Here’s another view. And you can see the protection (since we don’t want to burn ourselves) on the side too… just needs to be slipped on.
The October theme is…
WIELD YOUR BLADE
⚔️Our October book is a tale inspired by Chinese mythology all about two characters with very different destinies, and what happens when their paths intertwine. This story features so many things we love – rich world building, dangerous adventure, slow burn romance, and a magical sword!
⚔️ We will be including a beautiful exclusive edition of the book which will feature an exclusive cover, SPRAYED EDGES, a reversible dust jacket (artist to be revealed soon!), and an exclusive foil design on the hardcover case! Every book will also be signed and come with a letter from the author!
⚔️ Items included will be inspired by The Lord of the Rings, Shadow of the Fox, Star Wars, Spin the Dawn and Call Down the Hawk!
