Hey guys!

So… I haven’t done a book haul in a while, but I haven’t bought enough books to do a proper one in the past months other than some pre-orders so I waited to do one more near my birthday…

This is a book haul from both May and June (my Birthday).

This is my first book haul of the year! I have been pretty good in terms of buying books and have controlled myself, with the exception of May and some on my birthday, because why not, right?!

Wanna see what I got? Just keep reading!

I WAS A GOD, ONCE. UNTIL I WAS CAST OUT BY MY FATHER, ZEUS.

NOW I’M AN AWKWARD MORTAL TEENAGER CALLED LESTER. BOUND TO A DIFFICULT AND DANGEROUS DEMIGOD CALLED MEG. THANKS A LOT, DAD.

My way out? A series of scary and dangerous trials, of course.

For my third mission, I must:
Journey through the Labyrinth to free an Oracle who only speaks in puzzles.

Defeat a vicious and bloodthirsty Roman Emperor – the most vicious of three very vicious and bloodthirsty Roman Emperors.

Is that all? No, I’ve to do everything without any of my godly powers. Wonderful. Looks like I’ll be needing all the help I can get. From new friends, and old . . .

This edition includes a Percy Jackson short story!
Clarisse, daughter of Ares, the Greek god of war, needs Percy Jackson’s help. Her father’s chariot has been stolen and she has to get it back by sunset.
The only hitch? The chariot-jackers are none other than her terrifying immortal brothers Phobos and Deimos. Can Percy and Clarisse get the chariot back before it’s too late?

Find out in: PERCY JACKSON AND THE STOLEN CHARIOT

May Wrap-up and June TBR

Hey guys!!

How has your month been? May, for me, was actually pretty good!

First of all, because we finally have sun and warmth! I missed this weather! It always makes me so much happier! Anyone else?

But I also had my last exams at the beginning of the month, so after that, I dedicated myself a bit more to reading, which I couldn’t be happier about! Plus I also kind of bought quite many books this month, so we have a haul coming up next month (I will join it with my birthday haul)!

I’ve read 12 books, 2 of them being manga and 1 graphic novel. I also started 3 other books, which I was aiming to have finished but oh well! I just hope next month is as good for me, as this one was.

April Wrap-up and May TBR

Hey guys!!

I can’t believe we already ended April! It’s passing so fast! Did you guys have a good month? What have you been reading?

This month I had quite a bit to do. I had some tests, a lot to study and I ended up changing my month a bit. I’ve been reading quite a bit of fantasy and some heavy books, so I decided that for this month and especially the next, I will try to make it a bit lighter.

I’ve read only 10 books, 3 of them being very tiny… But I did start 2 others so… Hopefully, next month will be better since I end my test at the beginning of the month!

Top Ten Tuesday: Books On My Spring TBR

Captura de ecrã 2018-02-06, às 11.19.18

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish in June 2010 out of a love of lists. It recently changed to That Artsy Reader Girl and that’s where you can find the topics for each Tuesday.

This week’s topic is:

Books On My Spring TBR

Ahh, I wasn’t expecting this topic although I guess I should have… I haven’t really done any Spring TBR so far but I guess I will now, I will make a list of 10 books I intend to read during Springtime, or at least, I hope I will read… 5 of them will be ARCs and highly anticipated releases, and 5 will be mainly books that I really need to get to since they are just gathering dust >.<

Do you have a Spring TBR already or intend on doing one? What books are you excited to get to?

Zeus has punished his son Apollo—god of the sun, music, archery, poetry, and more—by casting him down to earth in the form of a gawky, acne-covered sixteen-year-old mortal named Lester. The only way Apollo can reclaim his rightful place on Mount Olympus is by restoring several Oracles that have gone dark. What is affecting the Oracles, and how can Apollo do anything about them without his powers?

After experiencing a series of dangerous—and frankly, humiliating—trials at Camp Half-Blood, Apollo must now leave the relative safety of the demigod training ground and embark on a hair-raising journey across North America. Fortunately, what he lacks in godly graces he’s gaining in new friendships—with heroes who will be very familiar to fans of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians and Heroes of Olympus series. Come along for what promises to be a harrowing, hilarious, and haiku-filled ride. . . .

April Wrap-up and May TBR

Hey, guys!

I am so happy that this month is finally over! I ended my classes and now I just have to study for an exam! I can finally relax a bit more and dedicate more time to my reading and to my blog! I know I have been a bit on and off doing tags, answering comments and viewing what you all are up to, but I am getting there! Also, I will be uploading more posts again just like I used too!

This month was actually pretty good considering the stress over final school works. I read pretty much what I intended to and added a pile more to my TBR… The balance is off, but at least I had a great time reading the few I got to! I read 10 books, some were arcs, some were manga and a couple I read because the next books are going to be released really soon.Read More »

April Book Haul

IMG_6729.jpg

This month I ended up buying some (way too many) books, but the majority was actually last month. And I swear I was going to do some Book Haul then, but that never really ended up happening due to lack of time. So I am doing some kind of March and April Book Haul + Netgalley requests, which I’ve never done before.

So I accumulated 15 Books… Like, what?! Yeah, 15 books, I can’t believe it myself… And like that’s not enough I got only in April, some 12 more from Netgalley. I know I’m crazy, but I couldn’t be happier!

Hope you guys enjoy! And let me know if you guys like this type of posts.Read More »

How do you punish an immortal? By making him human. After angering his father Zeus, the god Apollo is cast down from Olympus. Weak and disoriented, he lands in New York City as a regular teenage boy. Now, without his godly powers, the four-thousand-year-old deity must learn to survive in the modern world until he can somehow find a way to regain Zeus’s favor.
